Flood

Today as I was coming home the water in the street gradually got deeper and deeper. My car started to run a little rough and float so I pulled into a driveway a block from my own. The homeowner said I could stay in his driveway so I read a magazine in my car as I waited for the water to subside. The car in this picture is a Lexus. Many cars were abandoned in the street as the drivers sought higher ground.

Minigolf and Hooters

This morning I went in to work for a bit. Neal came by Learjet and we went and played mini-golf. It was fun. Then we had lunch at Hooters which is always great. Then back to work. I had a good conversation with Kirsten on the phone. She and the girls went to church with her mom.

The Girls are Gone

This morning Kirsten and the girls left me for Illinois. After packing the van we met at IHOP for breakfast. Hayley was very tired. She's not used to waking up before she's ready to be up. After they left I went to work for a bit then to the Warren at Old Town. I saw The Dukes of Hazzard. It was predictably dumb.

RAZR

I took this picture with my new phone, a Motorola RAZR, and moved it to my PC via Bluetooth while it was on the entertainment center in the other room. It's a pretty slick little device.
